Kevin Lee and Eunice Lim take top honors at Grace-In-Motion’s 12th Annual Run for the Kids 5K

Grace-In-Motion’s 12th Annual Run for the Kids 5K/2K brought together runners, walkers, families, and supporters on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at the scenic Ross Dock Picnic Area in Fort Lee, NJ. With crisp autumn air and views of the Hudson River, the event offered a vibrant atmosphere for participants of all ages, all united by a shared mission: supporting the Ararat Mission Center’s Building Hope Project, which builds homes for children and families in need in Armenia.


The day kicked off with registration and raffles at 8:00 AM, followed by the 2K Walk at 10:00 AM and the 5K Run at 10:15 AM.

In the 5K Run, Kevin Lee emerged victorious with a commanding time of 18:13, edging out Michael Yom by just six seconds (18:19). The race was tightly contested, with both runners setting a strong pace from the start. On the women’s side, Eunice Lim claimed the top spot with a time of 23:08, placing 12th overall in the field—a remarkable performance that highlighted her endurance and speed.


Beyond the competition, the race served as a celebration of community and compassion. Participants enjoyed raffles, scenic views, and the satisfaction of contributing to a meaningful cause. Grace-In-Motion’s partnership with Ararat Mission Center emphasized the event’s deeper purpose—bringing hope and shelter to vulnerable families abroad.
