7th Annual Riverdale First Responder 5K Run & Walk

October 4, 2025 – Freedom Park, Riverdale, NJ
Runners and walkers gathered at Freedom Park on Saturday morning for the Annual Riverdale First Responder 5K Run and Walk. Under sunny skies and crisp, cool conditions, participants enjoyed perfect racing weather while honoring the community’s first responders.
In the men’s race, Efrain Gonzalez put on a commanding performance from the start. Gonzalez broke away early and never looked back, crossing the line in 17:21 to secure the overall victory in dominant fashion.
The women’s race provided the day’s most exciting finish. Erin Earley surged late to claim the top spot, finishing 4th overall and holding off Crystal Naumoff by just 11 seconds. The tight battle for the women’s crown brought plenty of energy to the home stretch.
The Riverdale First Responder 5K once again combined fitness, fun, and community spirit, with strong performances across the field and great support for local heroes.
